COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Outbreak

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all Idaho Assistive Technology Resource Centers continue to suspend face-to-face consultations, demonstrations, and trainings. Our offices remain closed to the public so please contact us with any questions.

Information and referral services, technical assistance, and low-interest financing programs can be accessed via our website, email or by calling our office numbers. Voicemail is transmitted to staff by email and they will call you back as soon as possible.

Our equipment lending libraries are up and running once again with curbside pickup and return services only.  Feel free to submit device loan requests on Idaho Assistive Technology for All and we will respond as soon as we are able.  You may also leave a message with any of the AT Resource Centers if you have an immediate need. For durable medical equipment redistribution listed by the independent living centers, please contact them directly to determine their current service availability.

The National Assistive Technology Act Technical Assistance and Training (AT3) Center has created a webpage of comprehensive, up-to-date information regarding Emergency Management during the COVID-19 outbreak. Information on health insurance, updates from federal agencies that include Education, and Health and Human Services, sanitization, how to manage anxiety, and the four phases of emergency preparedness are discussed.

We continue to share information related to assistive technology, emergency AT resources, and any updates to our service availability via Facebook, Twitter, and the Idaho Training Clearinghouse.

We wish everyone well as we all continue to weather this pandemic.
