Idaho Assistive Technology Resource Centers

AT Assistance Across Idaho

The Idaho Assistive Technology Project (IATP) has dedicated IATP Resource Centers in five key locations across Idaho:

  • Coeur d’Alene
  • Moscow
  • Boise
  • Twin Falls
  • Idaho Falls

These centers are a hub for information and resources on all things related to assistive technology (AT). Each location is equipped with a lending library of AT devices, and our staff are prepared to:

  • Provide information or connect you with the appropriate person, organization or resource.
  • Conduct AT assessments to help determine what type of AT will best suit your needs and goals.

Hands-on demonstrations for available devices can also be arranged in any of our locations.

Find the IATP Resource Center nearest you.

Lending Libraries

Each IATP Resource Center is equipped with a lending library that features a variety of AT. This includes items such as:

  • hands-free computer access options (head mouse, eye gaze, voice controliPad)
  • braille displays and notetakers
  • augmentative communication devices
  • magnifiers and optical character recognition
  • FM and sound field amplification systems
  • switch activated toys
  • Obi Robotic Feeder.

A full list of devices is available on the AT4All website. Many items can be borrowed free of charge, making this an excellent option for:

  • testing a device before making a purchase decision
  • short term use while your device is being repaired
  • a family member or friend who requires a device while visiting your home.

Call the Center nearest you to arrange a hands-on demonstration of any piece of AT available through our lending libraries.

Hands-on Demonstrations

Our IATP Resource Center staff are prepared to provide demonstrations of our available AT equipment. This includes:

  • showing you how to use a piece of AT
  • comparing different devices
  • helping you test out different devices
  • answering any questions you may have.

To arrange a demonstration, please:

  1. Call your nearest IATP Resource Center.
