Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all Idaho Assistive Technology Resource Centers are suspending face-to-face consultations, demonstrations, and trainings. Our offices are closed but staff are continuing to work from home so please contact us with any questions.

Information and referral services, technical assistance, and low-interest financing programs can be accessed via our website, email or by calling our office numbers. Voicemail is transmitted to staff by email and they will call you back as soon as possible.

Our equipment lending libraries are extending any current equipment loans until at least May 15, 2020. Until staff can return to the offices, new equipment loans from our libraries is on hold. Feel free to submit loan requests on Idaho Assistive Technology for All and we will respond as soon as we are able, or leave a message at any of the AT Resource Centers if you have an immediate need. For durable medical equipment redistribution listed by the independent living centers, please contact them directly to determine their current service availability.

The National Assistive Technology Act Technical Assistance and Training (AT3) Center has created a webpage of comprehensive, up-to-date information regarding Emergency Management during the COVID-19 outbreak. Information on health insurance, updates from federal agencies that include Education, and Health and Human Services, sanitization, how to manage anxiety, and the four phases of emergency preparedness are discussed.

We will continue to share information related to assistive technology, emergency AT resources, and any updates to our service availability via Facebook, Twitter, and the Idaho Training Clearinghouse.

We wish everyone well as we all weather this epidemic.
