In-Service Training

In collaboration with the State Department of Education, the Idaho Assistive Technology Project is available to conduct statewide training for educators.  These trainings allow participants to gain a basic understanding of the application of assistive technology devices and services in the rehabilitation and education process and can include practical skills training on devices.  Training on a specific assistive technology device or software is available to school districts free of charge. These trainings can be targeted to specific teams as follow-up training for a recent or past assessment.  In addition, training can be provided for school districts as in-service on a certain device, software or service that may benefit a few or all students.
